The Americas Trail Blazers basketball squad (El Paso, TX), was nudged 41-40 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX)

With the victory, Permian advances its record to 12-3 on the year. The Panthers host Presidio (Presidio, TX) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a record of 8-6. Presidio lost 57-54 in their recent non-league battle against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX)
