Texas High School Basketball - Mildred overwhelms Dawson

The Mildred Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Dawson Bulldogs to 39 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Frost for a 2A Region III District 18 game on Tuesday, January 21. Mildred will confront a Polar Bears team coming off a 49-47 league loss to Italy (Italy, TX). The Polar Bears record now stands at 6-14.

With the loss, Dawson falls to 3-16 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Kerens (Kerens, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a 2A Region III District 18 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 11-3. Kerens lost 63-46 in their recent league game against Mildred (Corsicana, TX)
