In Monday's league match, the host Gilbert Christian Knights flag football squad scored a decisive 47-0 triumph over the Apache Junction Prospectors.

The Knights (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Leading Edge Academy - GEC (Gilbert, AZ). The Spartans go into the 3A Metro East battle with a 1-6 record.
