The Hickory Red Tornadoes basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host West Iredell Warriors to 61 in the Red Tornadoes league triumph on Wednesday.

The Red Tornadoes now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Foard for a 3A Western Foothills game on Friday, January 17. Hickory will confront a Tigers team coming off a 88-66 league loss to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 1-14.
