The Liberty Redhawks basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Independence Knights to 52 in the Redhawks league triumph on Friday.

The Redhawks now possess a 14-8 record. They play next when they travel to Memorial for a 5A Region II District 11 game on Tuesday, January 7. Liberty will play a Warriors team coming off a 73-58 league loss to Emerson (McKinney, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Independence falls to 10-12 on the campaign. The Knights host Frisco (Frisco, TX) to play the Raccoons in a 5A Region II District 11 game on Tuesday, January 7.
