The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Tucson High Magnet School Badgers (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting Canyon del Oro Dorados (Tucson, AZ), witnessed Tucson High Magnet School's football squad edge Canyon del Oro by a tally of 28-23.

The Badgers (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Marana (Tucson, AZ). The Tigers enter the 5A Sonoran contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Marana got by Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ), 51-27, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Dorados battle the Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 17. Canyon del Oro will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 57-0 league win over Nogales (Nogales, AZ).
