The Parkersburg Big Reds basketball squad (Parkersburg, WV), was nudged 62-58 in Thursday's league battle with the host St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV)

With the victory, St. Albans advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Red Dragons travel to East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV) to meet the Bees in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4. The Bees enter the battle with a record of 5-3. East Fairmont lost 56-49 in their recent non-league battle against South Park (South Park, PA)

The Big Reds now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hurricane for a Mountain State battle on Friday, January 10.
