In Tuesday's league outing, the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) basketball squad felled the host Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), by a margin of 67-48.

The Wildcats (15-6) will now prepare for their match against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ). The Titans enter the 4A Desert Sky match with a 3-15 record. In their last match, Arcadia was outscored by St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ), 80-40, in a league match.

With the defeat, Saguaro moves to 7-12 on the year. The Sabercats host St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Knights in a 4A Desert Sky game on Friday, January 20. The Knights enter the game with a record of 9-11. St. Mary's won 82-62 in their recent league game against Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ)
