Arizona High School Basketball - Pima crushes Valley

Pima Roughriders (Pima, AZ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Valley Pirates (Sanders, AZ), 57-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pima upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ) to play the Yellow Jackets in a 2A East bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a record of 3-2. Tombstone won 63-31 in their recent league bout against Bisbee (Bisbee, AZ)

Next up, the Pirates play the Round Valley Elks (Eagar, AZ) in a 2A North bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Elks come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 46-39 non-league loss to Pima (Pima, AZ).
