Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Round Valley Elks (Eagar, AZ) and the visiting Valley Pirates (Sanders, AZ), saw Round Valley's basketball squad wallop Valley by a tally of 59-34.

With the victory, Round Valley improves its record to 19-10 on the campaign. The Elks travel to St. Johns (St. Johns, AZ) to confront the Redskins in a 2A North challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 25-5. St. Johns won 66-32 in their recent league challenge against Many Farms (Many Farms, AZ)
