Georgia High School Basketball - Augusta Christian overwhelms First Baptist School

The Augusta Christian Lions basketball team scored 84 points and limited the visiting First Baptist School Hurricanes to 54 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now possess a 14-2 record. They play next when they host Northside Christian Academy for a SCISA 4A Region I game on Tuesday, January 7. Augusta Christian will play a Crusaders team coming off a 64-42 non-league loss to Pinewood Prep (Summerville, SC). The Crusaders record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, First Baptist School falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Pinewood Prep (Summerville, SC) to play the Panthers in a SCISA 4A Region II game on Friday, January 10. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 11-5.
