Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Augustine Catholic Wolves (Tucson, AZ) and the host Desert Christian Eagles (Tucson, AZ), saw St. Augustine Catholic's basketball squad hold off Desert Christian by a count of 29-27.

With the victory, St. Augustine Catholic upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Santa Cruz Valley (Eloy, AZ) to play the Dust Devils in a 2A South challenge on Friday, January 5. The Dust Devils come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Santa Cruz Valley lost 45-34 in their recent non-league challenge against San Manuel (San Manuel, AZ)
