The Butler Bulldogs bounced the visiting Independence Patriots basketball squad by a final score of 71-18 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A Southwestern outing, on Friday, January 24. Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 14-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the outing with a 3-13 record after their 37-22 non-league loss to Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC).

The Patriots (0-17) will now prepare for their outing against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars enter the 4A Southwestern outing with a 10-8 record.
