January 18, 2025: Decatur, GA 30030 Greenforest Eagles (Decatur, GA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA), 63-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Greenforest advances its record to 10-5 on the year. The Eagles host Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA) to meet the Patriots in a non-league match on Monday, January 20. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 17-2. Liberty Magnet won 75-23 in their recent non-league match against Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA)
The Bulldogs now own a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chamblee for a AAAAA Region 4 match on Tuesday, January 21. Decatur will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 63-60 league win over Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-6.
