Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA), 58-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Islands upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Sharks travel to Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA) to play the Knights in a AAA Region 3 bout on Friday, November 30. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Windsor Forest won 93-83 in their recent league bout against Savannah (Savannah, GA)

Next up, the Rebels play the Beach Bulldogs (Savannah, GA) in a AAA Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, December 4. Groves will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
