In Friday's league test, the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) basketball squad defeated the visiting Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), by a final score of 55-43.

Next, the Cavaliers clash with the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 20. Southern Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 10-0 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 7-2 record after their 68-65 league loss to Westover (Fayetteville, NC).
