Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN), 9-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hammond Central upgrades its record to 14-9 on the season. The Wolves travel to Hobart (Hobart, IN) to battle the Brickies in a non-league test on Saturday, May 27. The Brickies come into the test with a record of 17-10. Hobart won 14-3 in their recent non-league test against Merrillville (Merrillville, IN)

With the defeat, Hammond Morton falls to 9-20 on the season.
