Arizona High School Basketball - Highland fells Paradise Valley

Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ), 54-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Hawks travel to Cibola (Yuma, AZ) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Cibola won 64-32 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain View (Mesa, AZ)

Next up, the Trojans play the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Paradise Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Pride go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 45-29 non-league loss to Foothill (Henderson, NV).
