Maryland High School Basketball - Fort Hill holds off Mountain Ridge

January 31, 2025: Cumberland, MD 21502

The Fort Hill Sentinels basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Mountain Ridge Miners to 60 in the Sentinels league triumph on Friday.

The Sentinels now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Morgantown Christian Academy for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. Fort Hill will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 40-39 league win over Victory Baptist Academy (Beaver, WV). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Mountain Ridge falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Miners travel to GVCS Broadfording (Hagerstown, MD) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Lions go into the game with a record of 13-6. GVCS Broadfording won 66-61 in their recent non-league game against Heritage Academy (Hagerstown, MD)
