Fans at Tuesday's non-league test between the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC), witnessed Northwest Guilford's lacrosse squad top Weddington by a count of 17-6.

The Vikings (20-4) will now prepare for their test against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies enter the non-league test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, Hough prevailed over R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC), 16-8, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Weddington falls to 13-5 on the year.
