In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Midway Raiders baseball team scored a close 4-3 victory over the Triton Hawks.

The Raiders (13-6) will now prepare for their game against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Golden Falcons enter the non-league game with a 8-10 record. In their last game, C.B. Aycock was tipped by Hunt (Wilson, NC), 2-0, in a league game.

Next, the Hawks face the Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) in a All American 3A/4A game, on Thursday, April 17. Triton will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 5-14 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Panther Creek (Cary, NC).
