The Milford Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Thayer Central Titans to 42 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeview for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 19. Milford will battle a Vikings team coming off a 44-29 league loss to Northwest (Grand Island, NE). The Vikings record now stands at 6-7.

The Titans (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Friend (Friend, NE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Friend prevailed over Osceola (Osceola, NE), 52-28, in a non-league contest.
