The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX) and the visiting Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX), observed Fossil Ridge's basketball team knock off Saginaw by a score of 67-52.

The Panthers (11-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Pirates come into the 5A Region I District 5 challenge with a 11-16 record. In their last challenge, Granbury was knocked off by Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX), 42-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rough Riders encounter the Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX) in a 5A Region I District 5 challenge, on Friday, January 17.
