Austin Haldorson has been named player of the year. "All together Austin re-wrote the HRHS record books by breaking over 10 records. Austin was named 1st Team All League, 1st Team All 5A Tournament, Selected to play in the Show All Star Game, and will most likely be selected 1st Team All STATE. Austin set the all time single game scoring record of 39 points vs. MVista (32 points in the 2nd Half) and set the all time single game blocked shots record of 12 vs. rival RCanyon. Austin is the All Time Leader in Blocked Shots at HRHS and is ranked in the Top 3 all time with single season total points and rebounds. Austin is now the All Time Leader in Playoff Wins with 11. He also is the All Time Leader in Playoff Scoring, Playoff Rebounds, and Playoff Blocked Shots. During Austin's Varsity Career he started on 2 Final 4 Teams and was the 6th Man on the Elite 8 team."
