In their next game, the Mavericks face the Fulton Falcons (Knoxville, TN) in a 3A Region 2 bout, on Friday, September 5. Anderson County will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 21-13 non-league loss to Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN).
The Dragons (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Maryville (Maryville, TN). The Rebels enter the 4A Region 3 bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Maryville nudged Alcoa (Alcoa, TN), 20-13, in a non-league bout.
