October 10, 2008: Tolland, CT 06084 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Cromwell Panthers football squad scored a good 31-20 victory over the Tolland Eagles.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Valley Regional/Old Lyme Warriors (Deep River, CT) in a Pequot - Sassacus match, on Saturday, October 18. Cromwell will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 42-0 non-league win over Canton (Canton, CT).
The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Avon (Avon, CT). The Falcons enter the Pequot - Uncas match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Avon dropped by Hyde Leadership (Hamden, CT), 35-14, in a non-league match.
