September 19, 2008: Melbourne, FL 32901 In Friday's non-league game, the Palm Bay Pirates (Melbourne, FL) football team were victorious over the visiting Astronaut War Eagles (Titusville, FL), by a score of 20-0.
The Pirates (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Port St. Lucie (Port St. Lucie, FL). The Jaguars come into the 5A District 13 game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Port St. Lucie was knocked off by Central (Fort Pierce, FL), 21-15, in a non-league game.
The War Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Satellite for a 3A District 9 game on Friday, September 26. Astronaut will battle a Scorpions team coming off a 46-7 non-league loss to Rockledge (Rockledge, FL). The Scorpions record now stands at 0-3.
