Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) fans were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball team notch a victory over the visiting Marcos de Niza Padres (Tempe, AZ), 63-50 in a non-league game.

Next up, the Pride meet the Corona del Sol Aztecs (Tempe, AZ) in a 5A Central game, on Thursday, February 2. Mountain Pointe will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record. The Aztecs enter the game with a 21-0 record after their 82-57 non-league win over Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ).
