The Highland Hornets edged the visiting Rio Grande Ravens basketball team by a score of 66-64 in Tuesday's league game.

The Hornets (9-16) will now prepare for their game against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers enter the AAAAA District 5 game with a 7-17 record. In their last game, Los Lunas was edged by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 48-42, in a league game.

Next up, the Ravens meet the Eldorado Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a AAAAA District 5 game, on Friday, February 17. Rio Grande will attempt to improve on its 11-13 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 16-9 record after their 54-45 league loss to Manzano (Albuquerque, NM).
