Florida High School Football - Sunset thwarted by Coral Gables
August 25, 2006: Miami, FL 33183 The Coral Gables Cavaliers toppled the host Sunset Knights football squad by a final score of 21-6 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Cavaliers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southridge for a non-league outing on Friday, September 1. Coral Gables will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 27-0 non-league win over Varela (Miami, FL). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Sunset moves to 0-1 on the campaign. The Knights host South Dade (Homestead, FL) to confront the Buccaneers in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 31. The Buccaneers go into the outing with a record of 0-1. South Dade lost 14-13 in their recent non-league outing against Columbus (Miami, FL)
