Massachusetts High School Football - West Springfield toppled by East Longmeadow
September 30, 2006: East Longmeadow, MA 01028 The East Longmeadow Spartans ran past the visiting West Springfield Terriers football squad by a final score of 8-0 in Saturday's league outing.
The Spartans now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Hadley for a Suburban challenge on Friday, October 6. East Longmeadow will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 35-14 non-league win over Mahar Regional (Orange, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, West Springfield moves to 1-3 on the campaign. The Terriers travel to Easthampton/Hampshire (Easthampton, MA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 6. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Easthampton/Hampshire won 29-0 in their recent league challenge against Pathfinder RVT (Palmer, MA)
