Ohio High School Football - Fairfield succumbs to Lakota West
October 20, 2006: Fairfield, OH 45014 Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Fairfield Indians (Fairfield, OH), 21-0 in a league challenge.
The Firebirds now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lakota East for a Greater Miami challenge on Friday, October 27. Lakota West will clash with a Thunderhawks squad coming off a 40-28 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, OH). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, Fairfield moves to 1-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Hamilton (Hamilton, OH) to clash with the Big Blue in a Greater Miami challenge on Friday, October 27. The Big Blue go into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Hamilton lost 15-14 in their recent league challenge against Milford (Milford, OH)
