Nevada High School Football - Legacy can't hold off Meadows
September 1, 2006: Las Vegas, NV 89129 Meadows Mustangs (Las Vegas, NV) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad get by the visiting Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV), 15-14 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host White Pine for a Southern 2A challenge on Friday, September 29. Meadows will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 63-0 non-league loss to Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Legacy moves to 0-1 on the campaign. The host Needles (Needles, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Needles won 46-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Silver Valley (Yermo, CA)
