North Carolina High School Football - Sanford toppled by South View
October 9, 2006: Hope Mills, NC 28348 The South View Tigers ran past the visiting Sanford Bulldogs football squad by a final score of 22-6 in Monday's league outing.
The Tigers now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pine Forest for a Two Rivers outing on Friday, October 13. South View will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 41-19 league win over Smith (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.
With the defeat, Sanford moves to 6-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Lumberton (Lumberton, NC) to confront the Pirates in a Two Rivers outing on Friday, October 13. The Pirates go into the outing with a record of 1-6. Lumberton lost 30-12 in their recent league outing against Swett (Pembroke, NC)
