The Sunnyslope Vikings (Phoenix, AZ) volleyball overcame the visiting Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Sunnyslope upgrades its record to 7-11 on the year. The Vikings host Liberty (Peoria, AZ) to face the Lions in a 6A Desert Valley outing on Wednesday, April 19. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 14-10. Liberty won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ)

The Monsoon now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Cesar Chavez for a 6A West Valley outing on Tuesday, April 25. Valley Vista will face a Champions squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ). The Champions record now stands at 0-17.
