The Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA), 64-61 in Friday's non-league test.

The Sentinels (19-9) will now prepare for their test against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 29-1 record. In their last test, Mater Dei got by Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA), 56-40, in a non-league test.

The Diablos now own a 26-4 record.
