Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) and the host McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH), saw Springfield's basketball squad wallop McDonald by a count of 53-25.

With the victory, Springfield upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH) to play the Bluejays in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Jackson-Milton lost 59-37 in their recent league challenge against Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet challenge, on Thursday, January 11. McDonald will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
