August 24, 2023: Front Royal, VA 22630 The Warren County Wildcats football team (Front Royal, VA), was ripped 46-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA)
The Colonels (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Brentsville District was ripped by Sherando (Stephens City, VA), 48-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millbrook for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 29. Warren County will meet a Pioneers team coming off a 46-6 non-league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-0.
