Virginia High School Volleyball - Alleghany tips Galax
September 11, 2023: Galax, VA 24333 The Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) volleyball nudged the host Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA), 2-1 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Alleghany upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to Elkin (Elkin, NC) to face the Buckin' Elks in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 12. The Buckin' Elks go into the outing with a record of 5-7. Elkin lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC)
The Maroon Tide now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Giles for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 12. Galax will face a Spartans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-1.
