February 3, 2024: Turbotville, PA 17772 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Bloomsburg Panthers (Bloomsburg, PA) and the host Warrior Run Defenders (Turbotville, PA), saw Bloomsburg's basketball squad overcome Warrior Run by a tally of 38-27.
With the victory, Bloomsburg improves its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. North Schuylkill lost 38-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Williamsport (Williamsport, PA)
Next up, the Defenders confront the Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) in a Heartland II challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. Warrior Run will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 50-9 non-league win over Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA).
