The Howard Huskies basketball team (Macon, GA), was routed 64-41 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA)

The Bears now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lovejoy for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 6. Griffin will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 73-71 league win over Alcovy (Covington, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-4.

The Huskies (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Perry (Perry, GA). The Panthers come into the AAAA Region 2 battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Perry was routed by Veterans (Kathleen, GA), 77-56, in a non-league battle.
