February 4, 2023: Shady Spring, WV 25918 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV) and the visiting Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV), saw Shady Spring's basketball squad overcome Parkersburg South by a tally of 87-69.
With the victory, Shady Spring improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to WestSide (Clear Fork, WV) to confront the Renegades in a Coalfield AA challenge on Monday, February 13. The Renegades come into the challenge with a record of 7-8.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 6. Parkersburg South will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 81-45 league win over Riverside (Belle, WV).
