The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains football squad scored 32 points and restricted the host Mohawk Warriors to 7 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Friday.

The Chieftains now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fostoria for a non-league battle on Friday, September 1. Hopewell-Loudon will face a Redmen squad coming off a 51-28 non-league loss to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 1-1.
