In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Riverside-Martin Knights basketball team scored a good 63-51 triumph over the North Pitt Panthers.

In their next game, the Knights face the Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC) in a 1A Conference 2 match, on Tuesday, January 3. Riverside-Martin will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 7-3 record after their 59-43 non-league win over Holmes (Edenton, NC).
