The Berks Catholic Saints football team (Reading, PA), was knocked off 34-21 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA)

The Lancers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hughesville (Hughesville, PA). The Spartans come into the Heartland III challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Hughesville knocked off Montgomery (Montgomery, PA), 42-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Saints now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Executive Education Academy Charter School for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 2. Berks Catholic will meet a Raptors team coming off a 33-14 non-league win over Athens (Athens, PA). The Raptors record now stands at 1-0.
