Texas High School Softball - Coldspring-Oakhurst bounces Shepherd
March 4, 2022: Coldspring, TX 77331 Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans (Coldspring, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Humble for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. Coldspring-Oakhurst will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-9 non-league loss to Spring Woods (Houston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-13.
With the loss, Shepherd falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Pirates host Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX) to battle the Longhorns in a 4A Region III District 21 challenge on Tuesday, March 8. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a record of 13-2. Hamshire-Fannett won 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Onalaska (Onalaska, TX)
