The Freeport Yellowjackets (Freeport, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Ford City Sabers (Ford City, PA), 56-51 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Yellowjackets (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Mars (Mars, PA). The Fightin' Planets go into the WPIAL AAA 1 test with a 17-1 record. In their last test, Mars got by Valley (New Kensington, PA), 84-54, in a league test.
