New York High School Football - Peru topples Beekmantown

September 9, 2022: Peru, NY 12972

The Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) football defeated the visiting Beekmantown Eagles (Plattsburgh, NY), 34-20 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Nighthawks face the Plattsburgh Hornets (Plattsburgh, NY) in a Section 7 bout, on Friday, September 16. Peru will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 48-31 league loss to Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY).

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Moriah (Port Henry, NY). The Vikings enter the Section 7 bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Moriah defeated AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY), 30-0, in a league bout.
