Indiana High School Softball - Bremen bounces East Noble
May 19, 2022: Kendallville, IN 46755 The Bremen Lions routed the host East Noble Knights softball squad by a count of 17-3 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Lions (15-7) will now prepare for their battle against Wawasee (Syracuse, IN). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 7-14 record. In their last battle, Wawasee was routed by Concord (Elkhart, IN), 8-3, in a league battle.
The Knights now sport a 10-13 record.
Game Summary
The Bremen Lions softball team won its forth game in a row after beating E. Noble in Kendallville on Thursday night by a score of 17-3. The Lions scored a lone run in the 1st, but was matched by the Knights with a solo HR by Anderson.
The Knights scored 2 in the 3rd, but the Lady Lions bats woke up and scored 10 runs in the 4th & 6 more in the 5th for the win.
Katie Moyer led the offense with 4 hits including 2 singles, double & triple collecting 4 RBI. Gretchen Willis belted two home runs and added a single gathering 6 RBI. Naomi Flores and Mickie Shively each had three hits a piece in the 15 hit attack.
