January 27, 2024: Minerva, OH 44657 The Dover Crimson Tornadoes (Dover, OH) basketball knocked off the host Minerva Lions (Minerva, OH), 43-25 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Crimson Tornadoes (10-8) will now prepare for their test against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, John Marshall notched a victory over Linsly (Wheeling, WV), 63-43, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Carrollton for a Eastern Buckeye test on Wednesday, January 31. Minerva will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 51-12 non-league win over Sandy Valley (Magnolia, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 14-4.
